CORONADO, Calif. (April 15, 2023) Force Master Chief Walter S. Dittmar, Naval Special Warfare Command, gives a speech at the 37th annual Salute to the Military Ball. The ball, held by the Coronado Chamber of Commerce, joins military and civilian communities to celebrate and honor local service members who dedicate much of their lives to the country and the community. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
