Arctic Edge 2024
A special operations boat lands in Arctic waters as East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare Operators (SEALs) conduct a military free fall from a MC-130J Commando II aircraft assigned to the 27th Special Operations Wing during Arctic Edge 24 in Kodiak, Alaska, Feb. 25, 2024. AE24 is an annual defense exercise for the U.S. Northern Command emphasizing Joint Force operations in an extreme cold weather and high latitude environment and is designed to demonstrate the Command’s ability to conduct Globally Integrated Layered Defense in the Arctic.
