NSWG-2 is the command headquarters for all East Coast-based U.S. Navy SEAL Teams. Our principal mission is to produce, support, and deploy the finest maritime commandos on the planet. Our team members – both Special Warfare and Direct Support Staff – play an important part in that mission.
The best teams need the best support – Join Naval Special Warfare Support Staff.
Naval Special Warfare’s greatest strength is our people—both uniformed and civilian—across our active and reserve components. Every team member whether SEAL or Support team member is valuable and integral our overall success.
Our operational successes are underpinned by our ability to sustain the highest level of excellence in the way we man, train, and equip our force.
Innovation is foundational to the Naval Special Warfare community. Naval Special Warfare pioneered much of the combat diving gear, closed-circuit diving equipment, swimmer submersibles and limpet mine attack techniques we see today.
Naval Special Warfare is seeking Sailors in eligible rating communities to support NSWG-2 SEAL Teams
Our community’s selectivity is built on the rock-solid foundation of earned respect and an unbreakable commitment to the mission.
The technical complexity of our future operations demands that we assess and select teammates with those technical skills which will be critical to our success.
The courage, grit, and integrity of past teammates formed the standard we uphold in our community today.
Duty with Naval Special Warfare is uniquely rewarding – apply for this career enhancing billet!
Support Sailors are an integral part of the team - we can’t do what we do without you!
Support Staff Sailors go through high-end specialized training and make direct mission impact.
Some rates earn Special Duty Pay and duty with NSW makes Sailors competitive for selection boards.
Support Staff Sailors talk about high levels of job satisfaction and experience some of the best family support the Navy has to offer.
Billets go fast – reach out to NSWG-2 career counselors to pre-screen!
