MISSION

Organize, train and equip assigned Naval Special Warfare personnel to deploy combat ready forces and maritime mobility systems in support of Fleet and Joint Commanders. Conduct Security Force Assistance to build foreign security force small craft capability and capacity in accordance with Commander, United States Special Operations Command priorities. Deploy NSW Task Force and group level battle staff for command and control of NSW forces as required.


 

NSWG-4 IS THE COMMAND HEADQUARTERS FOR SPECIAL BOAT TEAMS AND PRIMARILY COMPOSED OF SPECIAL WARFARE COMBAT CREWMAN (SWCC), SEALS AND DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF. THE SWCC MISSION IS TO EXPERTLY OPERATE SPECIALIZED SURFACE COMBATANT-CRAFT AND TO PROVIDE WEAPON SUPPORT AND TACTICS, IN SUPPORT OF FULL-SPECTRUM SPECIAL OPERATIONS MISSIONS WORLD WIDE.
